A long journey has come to an end!

It is with great joy and gratitude that I announce the successful defense of my doctoral dissertation and my award of the PhD degree by the School of Dentistry of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.

My sincere thanks go to my supervisors, Professor Kamposiora and Professor Papavasileiou, for their invaluable guidance, support, and encouragement throughout this journey.

I am also deeply grateful to my family for their unwavering love, support, and belief in me over all these years.

As C. P. Cavafy so beautifully expressed in Ithaka, returning to Ithaka is rewarding—but the journey itself has been the greatest adventure.
